Frank Barnes, UW-W's tennis coordinator, has used sixteen players in singles play this year, and no Warhawk has a losing record. His numerous doubles combinations, nineteen of them, have just one duo with a losing record, that being 0-1. Four Warhawks have reached the twenty win mark in singles play, led by Bayliss at 28-2. Kasten is 26-4, Divelbiss 21-3, and Smith 20-6. Aguilar and Kasten have teamed up for a 15-1 mark, and Smith and Divelbiss are 17-6.
The Warhawk tennis teams, women and men, combined for an 11-0 record on their Florida trip.
The Warhawks will return home to face Division I UW-Madison Saturday in the Nielsen Tennis Center in Madison. Whitewater, champions of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference four years in a row, will host the WIAC Automatic Qualifying Tournament Saturday, April 30. The top four teams from the fall WIAC championship will meet to determine the league's automatic qualifier in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship in May.
