UW-W coach
Frank Barnes has used fourteen players in singles this season. Eleven of the players have winning records --- and the three that don't are all 0-1. The numbers are even higher in doubles, where sixteen of seventeen combinations have winning marks, with the lone exception again, 0-1. Bayliss leads UW-W in wins with a 19-5 record, followed closely by Niquet at 17-5 and Balkin's 16-6. Rademacher has the best winning percentage in singles at 8-1. Balkin and Osborne are 15-2 at number one singles, and Bayliss and Niquet are 14-1 at the second flight.
The Warhawks will host a pair of doubleheaders next weekend. Friday, April 1 UW-W will take on North Central College at 1:00 and the University of Dubuque at 4:00. Saturday, April 2 it will be Carthage College at 9:00 and Lawrence University at 3:30. All four of the matches, weather permitting, will be played on the Wangerin Courts south of Williams Center/Kachel Fieldhouse on the UW-W campus. There is no admission charge.
