Warhawks Go 1-1 in Weekend Duals

The UW-Whitewater women's tennis team opened their "second season" with a split of dual matches played in Saint Peter, Minnesota Saturday.  UW-W, which won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title last fall, lost to Gustavus Adolphus College 7-2 and defeated Augustana College (SD) by the same 7-2 score.

UW-W is 13-3 in dual meets. 

Whitewater will play six matches in Orlando, Florida during the school's spring break before facing the University of Wisconsin-Madison March 26 in Madison.  The only home event of the spring will be the WIAC final four, the qualifier for the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III championship, April 30.  UW-W won the right to host the qualifier by winning the WIAC title October 24.
