UW-Oshkosh made a bid to get on the board in the first half, Ryan Hanna, Chris Kurth, and Garrett O'Brien all had excellent shots at the net, but Warhawk goaltender Matt Mikesell (Waukesha/Kettle Moraine) was up to the challenge to keep the game scoreless.  Sam Kuchenreuther (Brown Deer/Brown Deer) had Whitewater's best shot at the net, but UW-O's James Pike came up with the save.

Kevin Kron (Willowbrook, IL/Benet Academy) scored the only goal of the game, with the first assist from Austin Saari (River Falls/River Falls) to Jonathon Fischer (Hartland/Arrowhead) for the second assist who found Kron in the box.  It was Kron's team leading tenth goal of the season.

Hanna and Daniel Fischer made bids to pull the Titans even, but Mikesell again made the saves to send the teams to intermission 1-0.

The Titans found their way down the field several times in the second half, getting off six shots that tested Mikesell, who kept them all out of the net to preserve the win.  UW-W did not have a shot on goal in the second half.

Oshkosh had eleven shots on goal in the game, Whitewater two.  The Titans also led in corner kicks, 9-8, and UW-O committed 11 fouls to 10 for UW-W.  UW-O was whistled for six offsides, Whitewater one.  The physical game resulted in a total of seven yellow cards.

Whitewater also defeated Oshkosh 2-0 September 28 in Oshkosh in the team's first WIAC matchup of the home and home.

UW-W, 12-7 overall, will await word of a possible berth in the NCAA III tournament.  Those bids will be announced Monday.
