UW-Whitewater remained unbeaten with a pair of shutout victories, 9-0 versus UW-Oshkosh and 9-0 versus Edgewood College Wednesday on the Wangerin Courts in Whitewater, Wisconsin.  UW-W  did not lose a set in either match, and  coach Frank Barnes was able to use different lineups in the matches.  UW-W is 8-0 in dual meets.  The Warhawks extended their win streak against UW-Oshkosh to eleven.  Whitewater has not lost a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meet since October 7, 2006.

UW-W has four players, or duos, with unbeaten records.  Kalla Schaefer (Madison/Madison Memorial), a two-time All-American, is 13-0 and Hillary Franzen (Wausau/West) is 8-0.  Megan Kasten (Verona/Verona) and Lauren Aguilar (Gurnee, IL/Carmel Catholic ) have teamed up for a 6-0 mark, as have Jackie Vitale (Roselle, IL/Lake Park) and Abby Day (Hartford/Hartford).
UW-W, winners of four consecutive WIAC titles, will participate in the Hinds-Kellogg Classic hosted by Division I Western Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois Friday and Saturday.
