Netters 6-1 After Another WIAC Win

UW-Whitewater, three time defending Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion, raised its mark to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in league play with an 8-1 win at UW-Oshkosh Tuesday.

UW-Oshkosh is 4-1 overall, 1-1 in WIAC play.

Bayliss improved her team leading win total to 13-1, with Kasten close behind with an 11-3 mark.  The Aguilar/Martin duo kept their mark perfect, 6-0.  

In addition to the team win being important in the conference championship standings, which combine regular season play with the league tournament play to decide the crown, individual play in the WIAC will determine seeding for the conference tournament.

Whitewater is in action again October 6, hosting UW-Stevens Point at 3:30 and Carroll University at 6:30 on the Wangerin Courts, south of Williams Center on campus.  There is no admission charge for home matches.
