The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team defeated Carroll University and Elmhurst College by identical 9-0 scores Tuesday evening on Senior Night at the Wangerin Courts in Whitewater, Wisconsin.  UW-W honored seniors Kelvin Caiati (Greendale/Greendale), Danny Glinert (Madison/Edgewood), Ian Hintz (Burlington/Burlington) and Kyle Halweg (Waunakee/Waunakee).

UW-W improved to 19-9 in dual meets, including a 19-7 mark against fellow NCAA Division III schools.  Kelvin Caiati (Greendale/Greendale), now 20-10, reached the twenty win mark at one singles in the Carroll match.  Will Krieger (Hartland/Arrowhead), who won at two singles versus Carroll, is just one win behind Caiati at 19-8.  Brady Porter (Madison/Memorial) (11-2) won at five singles against Carroll, and Mike Harmatys (Brookfield/East) (16-5) won at two singles against Elmhurst to improve their team best winning percentages.  Caiati and Danny Glinert (Madison/Edgewood) won both of their number one singles matches to up their season record to 24-7. 

UW-W coach Frank Barnes mixed his lineup with numerous less familiar faces getting a chance to play Tuesday. 

The Warhawks have three matches remaining, all on the road, before NCAA tournament bids are announced.  UW-W will play at Illinois Wesleyan University April 29 before concluding the regular season May 1 against Carthage College and Olivet Nazarene College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
