Warhawks Win A Close One Against Grinnell

UW-Whitewater pulled out a 6-3 decision over Grinnell College Saturday afternoon on the Wangerin Courts in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

Caiati, 13-8, and Harmatys, 11-4, are UW-W's leaders in wins and winning percentage, respectively.  Ian Hintz (Burlington/Burlington) and partner Erik Scanlan (Libertyville, IL/Libertyville) own a team best 13-5 mark in doubles play.

The Warhawks' next home match will be against Rock Valley College and Lawrence University on Saturday April 3.  The Rock Vallley match, a sub-varsity meet, will begin at 9:00, and the Lawrence match at 3:00 on the Wangerin Courts south of Williams Center on the UW-W campus.  There is no spectator charge.
