The Warhawk Men's Tennis team suffered a loss to UW-Eau Claire in La Crosse on Saturday, 2-7, ending their seven match winning streak. The 'Hawks are now 17-9 overall.
It was a rough start for Whitewater with losses in all three doubles matches.
The Warhawks headed into the singles matches down but got two solid wins. At the number one spot,
Danny Glinert (Madison/Edgewood) secured a win 7-6 and 6-4, as well as
Brady Porter (Madison/Memorial) with a win 6-2, and 7-5.
Mike Harmatys (Brookfield/East) put up a fight going into a three set match, but came up short against Lars Olson with a score of 5-7, 7-6, and 10-6.
