The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team defeated Coe College 7-2 Sunday April 11, 2010 at Clark Racquet Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  

Results from the singles competition were as follows.
Singles one: Senior Danny Glinert (Madison/Edgewood) defeated Greg Janssen of Coe College 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. 
Singles two: Senior Kelvin Caiati (Greendale/Greendale) was defeated by Coe College's Elliot Rausa 6-3, 4-6, 2-6.
Singles three:  Graduate Student Michael Harmatys (Brookfield/Brookfield) defeated Scott Stegemann 6-2, 6-2.
Singles four:  Sophomore Eric Scanlon defeated Victor Khristenko 6-2, 2-6, 6-1.
Singles five:  Sophopmore William Krieger (Hartland/Arrowhead) defeated Curtis Newman 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Singles six:  Senior Kyle Halweg (Waunakee/Waunakee) was defeated by Jonathon Roger 6-4, 0-6, 5-7

On the season Glinert betters his record to 8-14 at number one singles and 11-15 overall.  Caiti is now 13-8 at number two singles and 16-9 overall, Harmatys 12-4 at number three singles and 13-4 overall, Scanlan is now 8-5 at number four singles and 12-8 overall, Krieger is 7-3 at number five singles and 15-7 overall and Halweg is 3-2 at number six singles and 11-12 overall.

In doubles play the team of Glinert and Caiti defeated Elliot Rausa/Scott Stegemann 8-4 improving their record to 17-5 as number one doubles and 20-5 overall as a duo.  Hintz and Scanlon also improved their record to 17-5 as both doubles number two and overall by defeating Curtis Newman/Greg Janssen 8-6.  The doubles number three team of Krieger and Miller also won their match by defeating Coe College's Victor Khristenko/Kyle Tucker to better their overall record to 2-1 on the season.  

The Warhawks next match will be UW- Oshkosh Friday, April 16th and UW- La Crosse Saturday, April 17th while competing at the WIAC Final Four held in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
