Mitchell is the tenth Warhawk to earn Player of the Year recognition.  Mike Gutter was the first in 1980, followed by Andre McCoy in 1982, 1983 and 1984; Elbert Gordon 1989, Ricky Spicer 1990, Allan Wassil 1996, James Stewart 1997, Jeremy Manchester 2006, and Matt Goodwin (Milwaukee/King) in 2008.

Bendall averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, tenth in the league, and was ninth in WIAC field goal percentage (.518) and blocked shots (0.63, tied with Mitchell).  He also averaged 10.3 points per game.

Miller directed the Warhawks to the WIAC crown, a regular season mark of 22-5, and a berth in the NCAA Division III championship tournament.  Miller has earned the WIAC Coach of the Year honor three times (2006, 2008, 2010).  The Warhawks were ranked among the top twenty Division III teams all season.  In his ninth season, Miller has never had a losing season and has accumulated 191 wins and four WIAC titles.

Miller and his predecessor Dave Vander Meulen, who Miller assisted for eight years, won a total of eight Coach of the Year awards, which was initiated in 1982, tied for the most by any WIAC member school.
