Shaun Davis (Edgerton/Edgerton) improved his provisional qualifying mark in the weight throw to highlight Whitewater performances in the Fighting Scot Invitational at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois Saturday.

Kraker won the mile in 4:20.27. He was joined in the winner's circle by the distance medley relay, timed in 10:44.04.
Davis placed second in the weight throw, improving his NCAA III provisional qualifying mark to 58-3.75.
Travis Morehouse (Cottage Grove/Monona Grove) and
Dave Kuczynski (Brown Deer/Brown Deer) finished third in their events, Morehouse in the high jump (6-6) and Kuczynski in the long jump (22-1.75).
Other top performances for the Warhawks were turned in by
Dan Machmueller (West Allis/West Allis Hale), fifth in the 3000 meter run (9:00.0);
Brian Gensrick (Mequon/Homestead), fifth in the 55 meter hurdles (7.98); and
Brandon Kiraly (Deerfield/Deerfield), fifth in the pole vault (13-3.5). Sixth place finishes were earned by
Tom Fisher (Green Bay/East) in the triple jump (43-6) and
Joe Schneider (Wausau, WI/Wausau) in the shot put (48-3.5).
UW-W will compete in the Eastbay Invite at UW-Stevens Point Saturday, the final tune-up before the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship February 26-27 at UW-Platteville.
