February 23 update from Chicago Bears website

UW-Whitewater senior Jeff Schebler (Davenport, IA/Assumption) will be one of the athletes honored at the National Football Foundation Awards Ceremony in Lake Forest, Illinois on Monday, February 22.  Schebler is being honored with the Fred Mitchell Award.  The award is given to the top placekicker in Division II and Division III combined.  Schebler was chosen out of approximately 150 NCAA Division II and 240 Division III football programs. 

Others who wish to attend can do so by registering online at www.nffchicagoawards.eventbrite.com.  It's $150 per person.  This includes a one year National Football Foundation (NFF) membership which allows members to vote for the 2010 College Football Hall of Fame class. The ceremony begins at 3:30 pm and commences at 6:00 pm.
