Whitewater Holds Down Number Two Spot in Polls

The UW-W Warhawk football team remains second in both D3football.com and AFCA top 25 polls released this week.

The UW-Whitewater football team claimed an outright Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship last Saturday with a 58-21 victory over UW-La Crosse in La Crosse. Whitewater is also the only school in the WIAC conference that received any votes and made it in the top 25.

UW-Whitewater starts their playoff campaign this Saturday when they host Lakeland College (6-4). The game is scheduled to start at noon at Perkins Stadium.
