Meredith Gustafson (Brookfield, Wis./East), Freshman
Gustafson won a pair of races Saturday to help the Warhawks edge UW-La Crosse 151-149 in a WIAC dual at the Williams Center Pool. She recorded a time of 11:20.89 in the 1000-yard freestyle to lead the rest of the field by nearly eight seconds. Gustafson also touched the wall first in the 200-yard butterfly with a result of 2:15.98, nearly three seconds faster than the runner-up. Gustafson also helped one of UW-Whitewater's 400-yard freestyle relay teams place third in a time of 3:49.60.
