Becker finished 6-for-14 at the plate (.429 average) with two doubles, one walk, three runs scored and three runs batted in last week at the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla. On March 22, she tallied one hit and one run scored against Augustana (Ill.). One day later, Becker collected two hits, including one double, and scored one run in the Warhawks’ 11-3 triumph in six innings against Middlebury (Vt.). She continued the momentum into her next game, reaching base three times with two hits and one walk to go with one run scored and one RBI in the team’s 7-4 win against Buffalo State (N.Y.). She closed the trip on March 24 by smashing a two-out, two-run double to left center to start the scoring in UW-W’s 5-1 victory in six innings against Williams (Mass.).
