Cal Durni (Brookfield, Wis./East), Sophomore, Defensive Line
Durni tied for the team lead with five tackles, including three for a loss and two sacks, to help the second-ranked Warhawks to a 48-6 win at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. He helped stall consecutive Blugold drives early in the second quarter, stuffing JT Denhartog for a loss of two on second down on the first drive and sacking Denhartog on third down on UW-Eau Claire's next possession to force a punt. Durni added another third-down sack midway through the third quarter for a loss of 10 yards to help force a turnover on downs, and collected stops on back-to-back rushing plays on the next Blugold drive.
