Brett Harms (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater), Junior
Harms placed first in the 143-runner men's 8-kilometer field Saturday at Principia College's Cowbell Classic in Elsah, Ill., to help UW-Whitewater place fourth in the 15-team field. His time of 25:03.7 was more than five seconds faster than the runner-up and nearly 30 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher. Harms' win is his second of the season and his second straight at the North Farm Course, the site of the 2017 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
