Ben Threloff (Chicago, IL/St. Rita of Cascia), Junior, Defensive Line
Threloff finished with three tackles and helped contain the UW-Oshkosh rushing attack Saturday during the No. 2 Warhawks' 17-14 victory over the No. 5 Titans in front of a Division III record crowd of 17,535 at Perkins Stadium. Threloff made two stops on a UW-Oshkosh drive late in the first quarter, including a tackle on third down, to help force a punt. He made another tackle late in the second quarter to help hold a rushing play to one yard. Threloff and the UW-Whitewater defensive line limited the Titans to 189 rushing yards, well below their season rushing average, and put consistent pressure on UW-Oshkosh quarterback Brett Kasper on passing plays.
