Marcus Hudson (Delavan, Wis./Delavan-Darien), Senior, Wide Receiver
Making his 2016 season debut, Hudson totaled four receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown to help the No. 2 Warhawks down NAIA No. 2 Morningside (Iowa) 31-17 on Saturday at Perkins Stadium. With UW-Whitewater clinging to a one-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter, Hudson caught a 55-yard pass from quarterback Chris Nelson (Twin Lakes/Wilmot Union) on the second play of a drive to get into Morningside territory. Two plays later, he caught a 34-yard touchdown from Nelson to give UW-Whitewater a two-possession lead with less than 10 minutes to play. He also made a 47-yard reception on the Warhawks' first drive of the game. Saturday's performance was Hudson's fifth career 100-yard receiving game.
