Dunning batted 7-for-16 (.438 avg.) with six runs scored and five runs batted in with an on-base percentage of .571 in six games last week to help the Warhawks to a 4-2 record. She reached base twice on one hit and one hit-by-pitch and scored two runs with one RBI in UW-Whitewater’s 8-0 triumph against UW-Stevens Point last Tuesday. In the second game of the doubleheader, Dunning posted two doubles, one walk, one run scored and one RBI in the Warhawks’ 7-3 win. On Thursday, she reached base two more times with one hit and one hit-by-pitch, tallied five fielding assists and knocked in the game-winning run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to give UW-W a 1-0, walkoff victory in the second game of a doubleheader against Carthage. On Saturday at Chicago, Duning recorded two hits, including a two-run homer, and added two walks, three runs scored and two RBIs in the Warhawks’ 6-3 triumph.
