On Wednesday, he tallied a 3-1 decision against Lloyd Reynolds in the dual’s final bout to give UW-Whitewater a thrilling 18-17 victory against Division II Parkside, helping the team reclaim the Sake Bottle rivalry trophy for the first time since 2015. On Saturday at the Adrian College Duals, Koeppel finished 4-0 with three pins to help the Warhawks sweep the duals. The day included a 2-1 decision against Isaiah Espinoza of Adrian, who is ranked ninth in the nation by D3wrestle.com and 10th by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
