Connor Spear (Highland, Ind./Mount Carmel (Ill.)), Sophomore
Spear finished last week with a 2-0 record and a 0.90 earned run average in 10 innings over two appearances to help the No. 16 Warhawks post a 7-2 record and clinch the WIAC regular season championship. He tossed four scoreless innings in relief on Wednesday against Ripon, allowing only two hits while striking out one in UW-W's 7-3 win. On Friday against UW-Stevens Point, Spear allowed only one run on three hits while striking out four over six innings in a 13-2 victory.
