Dechter finished 2-0 at No. 2 singles last week to help the Warhawks to a 2-1 record in dual matches. He recorded a 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-2) triumph over Tripp Schulte on Thursday to help UW-Whitewater to an 8-1 victory over Carthage. Three days later, Dechter downed regionally ranked Daniel Henry 7-6 (5), 6-3 of 27th-ranked Kalamazoo (Mich.) at Wangerin Courts. For the year, Dechter is 5-8 in singles play.
