Jessie Braun (Wales, Wis./Kettle Moraine), Sophomore
Braun bested 61 other runners Saturday in the women's 6-kilometer race to help UW-Whitewater to a runner-up finish at the Tom Hoffman Invitational. Her time of 24:49.9 was nearly 15 seconds faster than the event's runner-up and more than 15 seconds quicker than her result at the same race last season.
