Witt posted the No. 1 time in the nation in the 100-meter dash, winning the event in 10.42 seconds Saturday at the Drake Alternative Meet at Rex Foster Track. His mark was five-hundredths shy of his own school record and was three-tenths better than the runner-up in the race. Witt also added the No. 7 time in NCAA Division III in the 200-meter dash with a 21.42, which is tied for second in the WIAC and good for third out of 50 competitors at Saturday's event. A 10-time All-American, Witt looks to build on his five WIAC championships at this week's conference meet.
