Coach Jenna (Weinfurt) Cyskiewicz: My Story
As a student-athlete at UW-Whitewater, I was force as an outside hitter, known for a powerful swing.

During my five years on the Warhawk Volleyball team, I earned multiple All-WIAC, All-Region, and All-American honors and was named the 2023 WIAC Offensive Player of the Year. I was also recognized as an Academic All-American.

I was fortunate enough to be part of three WIAC Tournament Championship teams, a regional championship team, and made an unforgettable run to the National Championship match in 2024.

Those were some of the best years of my life, and I’m so grateful to have had so much success and made so many amazing memories at UW-Whitewater.

I’m even more grateful to be back as the Assistant Coach and Social Media Manager for Warhawk Volleyball.

Back at home
----------------
My journey at UW-Whitewater has come full-circle.

It’s a place that shaped me, challenged me, and gave me an endless amount of opportunities. Now, I have the chance to give back to the program that gave me so much, helping the next generation of athletes chase their goals while continuing to grow the legacy of Warhawk Volleyball.

In my role as Assistant Coach, I bring the perspective of someone who has recently been in our athletes’ shoes. I know firsthand what it takes to compete at a high level, and I’m excited to help guide our players with both technical training and the mental side of the game.

On top of that, coaching is about so much more than the X's and O's. It’s about helping athletes grow as both players and people, building the skills, mindset, and belief in themselves that will serve them long after their playing careers.

Expanding the legacy
-----------------------------
My role as the Social Media Manager allows me to share our program’s story, celebrate our athletes, and grow the Warhawk Volleyball brand in a way that connects with fans, alumni, and recruits.

I’m passionate about digital storytelling and believe it’s an important part of building our program’s culture and brand.

It’s incredible to be back at Whitewater in this new role, giving back to a program that means so much to me.

My hope is to help our athletes embrace challenges, grow through the process, and feel supported both on and off the court. By nurturing the next generation and expanding our program’s legacy, I’m excited to see how far we can take Warhawk Volleyball together.
