Cory Chapp enters his third year as an assistant sports performance coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2018-19.
 
Chapp works primarily with the Warhawk men’s soccer, women’s soccer, bowling and softball teams. He is responsible for the construction and implementation of each team’s training programs and the organization of preseason an in-season nutrition.
 
During the summer of 2017, Chapp worked as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Minnesota. He assisted in the program implementation with the Gopher baseball, men’s hockey, women’s hockey, women’s soccer, wrestling and volleyball teams.
 
Prior to UW-Whitewater, Chapp served in various strength and conditioning roles at Merrimack College (Mass.), Louisiana State University and Boston University.
 
Chapp earned his bachelor’s in kinesiology with an emphasis in strength and conditioning from UW-Oshkosh in 2015. He received his master’s in exercise and sports science from Merrimack in 2016.
 
Chapp is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Performance Coach. He also holds certifications in Reflexive Performance Reset (Level 1 and Level 2), Precision Nutrition (Level 1) and CPR, First Aid and AED from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute.
