Scott Suprise enters his eighth season as an assistant men’s soccer coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2022.
 
A 30-year coaching veteran, Suprise currently serves as the Youth Director of Coaching with the Milwaukee-based Croatian Eagles Soccer Club. He works primarily with the U-14 Boys Red team. In 2012, Suprise guided the men’s U-23 team to the national finals.
 
During Suprise’s tenure with the Croatian Eagles, the club has won multiple State Cups, the men’s team appeared in the national semifinals three times, winning the championship in 2012, and the Men’s U23 was a national finalist in 2012.  
 
Suprise recently stepped down as Head Varsity Coach at Milwaukee Pius XI High School, where he served in the role for 15 years. He led the Popes to a 222-112-30 record and 14 straight winning seasons.
 
A two-time Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Private High School Coach of the Year, Suprise served as a head coach at the WSCA High School All-Star Game four times.
 
Suprise has been a staff coach for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program for the past six years, and currently is the 2002 Boys head coach. He has also served as a member of the WSCA Executive Board and is a committee member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America National High School Ranking Committee.
 
Suprise holds a USSF C National License, NSCAA Advanced National, National and Goalkeeping 1 Diplomas. He also owns five FA coaching certificates.
 
Suprise and his wife, Karina, reside in Waterford. The couple has two sons, Alex and Philip. Alex played for four years on the Virginia Wesleyan College Men’s Soccer team, while Philip recently played professionally for the Milwaukee Wave.
