In 2020, Jennings helped UW-Whitewater reach the Stagg Bowl (NCAA Division III national championship game) for the 10th time in program history. The Warhawks' offense averaged more than 30 points per game and led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in rushing offense (197.5 yards per game).

In his first season as offensive coordinator (interim), the Warhawks led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in scoring offense, rushing offense and total offense. Senior quarterback Cole Wilber was selected WIAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Jennings spent two years at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., helping the Lynx rank second in the Southern Athletic Association in both scoring offense (31.9 points per game) and total offense (468.6 yards per game).

After spending his first season as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for Rhodes, Jennings was promoted prior to the 2017 season to associate head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He also oversaw the team’s social media accounts.

Prior to Rhodes, Jennings spent five seasons at Carroll, including four as offensive coordinator, when he helped the Pioneers post a 28-12 record.

During Jennings’ time at the institution, Carroll produced two eight-win seasons, the most victories in one year in program history. He coached 26 all-conference players for the Pioneers, including the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year. Jennings also served as recruiting coordinator, video production coordinator and social media manager while at Carroll.

Jennings started his coaching career at Iowa Wesleyan College, where he served as offensive coordinator from 2008-11.

Jennings was a four-year starting quarterback at Illinois College. He earned his bachelor’s in psychology and exercise science in 2007, and received his master’s in psychology from Walden University in 2009.
