Pete Kishline enters his fourth year as a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football staff. He currently serves as video coordinator and works with the defensive line.
Led by a deep, talented defensive line in 2015, the Warhawks allowed a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference-leading 112.9 rushing yards per game. Under Kishline's leadership, Zach Franz and Brandon Tamsett were named All-WIAC, and Tamsett later added D3football.com All-West Region accolades.
Prior to UW-Whitewater, Kishline was a special education assistant and assistant football coach at Hartland Arrowhead High School, a Division I powerhouse in Wisconsin, from 2004-12. During his time at Arrowhead, the Warhawks won a pair of Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association state titles and finished as runner-up twice. Kishline worked with the defensive line, coaching four unanimous first team all-state selections, 14 All-Classic 8 honorees, including one Classic 8 Defensive Player of the Year, and three athletes who received scholarships from Football Bowl Subdivision college programs.
Kishline also served as defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach and director of football operations for the Madison Wolfpack, a member of the Continental Indoor Football League, from 2009-11. The Wolfpack led the CIFL in total defense and scoring defense in 2009-10 and reached the playoffs in their inaugural season.
In addition to UW-Whitewater, Kishline has worked football camps at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, the University of Illinois and UW-Oshkosh, as well as Green Bay Packers youth camps.
Kishline was a three-year letter winner at defensive tackle at UW-Whitewater from 1999-2002. A graduate of Hartland Arrowhead, he was a part of the high school's 1996 Division I state championship team.
