Nick Pesik enters his first season as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2022. This is his second stint on the Warhawks' staff.
Most recently, Pesik was the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at UW-Stout, where he helped the Blue Devils average 34 points and more than 430 yards per game on offense during the team’s 2021 season. He coached nine all-conference players in two seasons and was the recruiting coordinator for Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
Pesik previously spent three seasons as wide receivers coach at UW-Whitewater from 2016-18. He helped UW-W claim Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships in 2016 and 2018 and reach the national semifinals in 2018.
In his first season, UW-Whitewater won the WIAC championship and earned a berth to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Playoffs. Junior wide receiver Marcus Hudson was selected first team All-WIACÂ after leading the team in receptions (52) and receiving yards (843) and tying for the team lead in receiving touchdowns (4).
Hudson was named first team all-conference again as a senior in 2017, finishing his career ranked among the program's all time leaders in receptions (145), yards (2,545) and touchdowns (21).
Pesik previously held positions at UW-Eau Claire (2015) and Division I Northern Illinois University (2011-14).
During his time at Northern Illinois, the Huskies claimed three Mid-American Conference championships and four MAC West Division titles and appeared in four bowl games, including the Orange Bowl during the 2012 campaign. Pesik coached three All-MAC wide receivers during his stint. Five receivers posted 500 yards or more in 2011, and NIU ranked sixth in total offense in 2013.
Pesik earned his bachelor's in exercise science and community recreation from Ripon College in 2011. He was a four-year member of and co-captain for the Ripon football team, and competed in rugby for two years. Pesik earned his master’s at NIU in adult and higher education in 2016.
