Rob Coe finished his third season as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team in 2019-20.

Coe was a three-time all-conference selection and two-time all-region honoree as a catcher and pitcher for the Warhawks from 2009-11. He also earned Gold Glove recognition following his senior campaign in 2011, when he started 49 of 50 games, batted .350 with 48 runs batted in, hit four home runs and pitched 12 1/3 innings with a 0.73 earned run average to help UW-Whitewater reach the NCAA Division III World Series.

After graduation, Coe continued his baseball career in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization for one season. He signed with the St. Paul Saints, a member of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, in 2011. After leaving the organization in 2012, he re-signed with the club in 2015 and continues to pitch for the organization, tossing 7 2/3 innings in four appearances over the summer.

In 2016, Coe posted an 11-3 record with a 4.24 earned run average in 21 games (20 starts). He became the club's all time leader in both career wins (41) and strikeouts (319) during the season.

In 2015, Coe finished 12-3 with a 3.11 ERA in 20 games (18 starts), holding opponents to a .216 batting average. Three years earlier, he finished among the top five in the league in wins (12) and ERA (2.91), and in 2011, his first season with the club, he posted a 3-1 record with a 4.93 ERA.

Coe also served as an assistant coach at Green Bay Notre Dame High School for two seasons (2014-15).
