Mike Aiello

Former standout Warhawk catcher Mike Aiello rejoined the UW-Whitewater baseball program as an assistant coach in the fall of 2022. 

Aiello returned to Whitewater following a stint as an assistant coach and head strength coach at Bryant & Stratton College, as well as time spent with BRX Performance as a performance specialist and additional coaching experience with Brew State Baseball Academy. 

A phenomenal catcher for the Warhawks, Aiello received numerous accolades throughout his career as a multi-time All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honoree and All-Region selection. He also was one of the best in the classroom with a number of academic honors highlighted by 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year and WIAC Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete of the Year recognition.

Following a successful collegiate career with UWW, Aiello went on to compete professionally with the St. Paul Saints and was a bullpen catcher for the Milwaukee Milkmen. 

Aiello received a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Human Performance from UW-Whitewater in 2018 and earned a Masters in Professional Development, Higher Education Leadership and Athletic Administration from UWW in 2019. He received certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2019 and has held a certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2021.
