Seating Capacity: 1,500

A general purpose area when Williams Center opened, the volleyball facility was a major component of the remodeling of Williams Center in 2001 when the arena was revamped to highlight the volleyball competition court with spectator seating for 1,500. A new floor, acoustics, sound system and lighting were added in 2008. The floor was resurfaced again in 2013 with a new design and color scheme, and banners were added to the walls.

Russell Arena hosted the 2001 and 2002 NCAA III volleyball final four. The facility was dedicated September 24, 2010 in honor of Kris Russell, UW-W volleyball coach from 1981-2004. That span covered 812 wins, eight WIAC championships, and 17 NCAA tournament appearances, including the national championship in 2002. The versatile facility has also hosted Warhawk gymnastics and wrestling meets, and was the site of the 2012 WIAC wrestling tournament.
