St. Norbert defeated Concordia University-Chicago 5-0.

St. Norbert posted four runs on three hits with the help of two walks and a wild pitch that brought the first runner across the plate in the bottom of the second inning. CU-Chicago threatened in the next half inning with bases loaded and two outs but couldn’t push any runs in. The Green Knights added an insurance run in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-0 lead in the game.
 
The Cougars had no shortage of opportunities in the game posting nine hits, one more than their opponents, but left 11 runners on base. Josh Honzik went the distance on the mound for the complete game shutout for St. Norbert College.

The Green Knights will face the loser of the St. Scholastica and Aurora match-up at 1:00 pm Friday.
