The College of Saint Scholastica came back from 4-0 and 6-4 deficits to defeat North Park University Wednesday in a first round game at the NCAA III baseball regional hosted by UW-Whitewater at Prucha Field at Miller Stadium. CSS, 34-9, will play the UW-La Crosse – Aurora University winner, a game in progress, at 7:00 Thursday.  North Park, 32-13, will face the loser of the La Crosse-Aurora game at 1:00 Thursday in the double elimination tournament.
 
Trailing 7-5 entering after six innings, CSS tied the score with two runs, both coming with two outs, in the top of the seventh.  North Park’s offense never went 1-2-3, and CSS had just two frames without a runner reaching base.  Saint junior second baseman Andy Schwantes collected three doubles in his first three at bats, driving in four runs.
