St. Norbert posted the first run of the game in the top of the third but steady offense during the mid game innings produced a number runs for St. Thomas bolstered by a three run bottom of the fifth. The Tommies’ scored three runs on two hits aided by a Green Knight error and two walks.
 
UST added a run in each the bottom of the sixth and seventh leading to the final 5-1. SNC’s Kevin Nutley and UST’s Bryce Gapinski pitched complete games on the mound for their teams with each surpassing the 100 pitch mark in the contest.
