Aaron Holland (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) started with a lead-off solo home run to left center, followed by an
Adam Cootway (DePere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) two-run homer, giving UWW an early 3-0 lead after just the first inning.

Sam Paden (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) adding a solo homer.
Jackson Spring's (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North) triple scored the fourth run of the frame.

UW-River Falls managed to add two more over the sixth & seventh innings while keeping the Warhawks off the base path. The Falcons managed to close in under 10 runs, keeping the game going for the full 9 innings.Â
But the Warhawks used the innings to add four more runs,
Dominik McVay (Mineral Point, Wis./Mineral Point) scored two with a single in the 8th, followed by a double steal run by
Wyatt Jensen (Luck, Wis./Luck) and an RBI single by
Brett Sommer (Greenville, Wis./Hortonville) in the 9th to give the Warhawks the 15-6 victory.
Game 2

Jackson Spring (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles North) highlighted a four-run first inning with a 2-RBI single, kick-starting a stellar game from the freshman. Spring finished game two, going 5-for-5 from the plate with 5 RBIs.Â
Aaron Holland (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North) &
Andy Thies (Tallahassee, Fla./Lawton Chiles) each went yard in the second for a five-run inning, pushing the lead to 9-0.Â

Daryl Jackson and
Sam Paden (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) knocked another two more RBIs. And

The Warhawks weren't done after 20, as
Jackson Koenig (Blaine, Minn./Blaine) sent the ball to left center for another 2-RBI tater. Immediately after Koenig rounded the bases, Olson hit his second four-bagger of the day to put the Warhawks up 23-0.
UW-River Falls managed to score four runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, highlighted by a two-run homer by a pinch hitter. The Falcons were unable to close the near-insurmountable lead to keep the game going though.
