Baseball

Cootway, Adam

Position: Adam Cootway – Senior – DH/OF – DePere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran
 

Adam Cootway had an outstanding week from the plate. Cootway’s stats were bolstered after hitting 3 home runs and 9 RBIs in a single game. For the week, the senior led the team with a .556 batting average (10-18) with two doubles and five home runs for a 1.500 slugging percentage. Cootway also batted in 14 Warhawks in the four-game series.
 

Eisenbarth, Logan

Pitcher: Logan Eisenbarth – Junior – Pitcher – Barrington, Ill./Barrington
 

Logan Eisenbarth was a key reliever for the Warhawks in their conference series against UW-Stevens Point. In his first appearance, Eisenbarth went 3.0 innings of perfect baseball, only facing nine batters and fanning four in his third win of the season. The junior also appeared in the series finale, not allowing a single hit and striking out two in his inning of work.
 

Softball

Position: Bella Eggert - Junior - Outfielder - Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North
 

Bella Eggert helped the Warhawks to a 2-2 week on the diamond last week. The junior was perfect at the plate (3-3) and scored the winning run in a top 20 matchup against UW-Oshkosh. For the week, Eggert was 6-14 in the batter's box and she had eight putouts in centerfield.
 

Pitching: Josie Hammen - Sophomore - Pitcher - Combined Locks, Wis./Kimberly
 

Josie Hammen picked up two more wins last week for UWW. She went the distance to register a complete game win over UW-Oshkosh. Hammen allowed five hits and struck out four in the shutout victory. She wrapped up the week with a win over UW-Eau Claire. In that game, Hammen struck out two in 5.1 innings of work. 
 

Men's Tennis

Singles: Theo Billson – Sophomore – Lindfield, Eng./BHASVIC
 

Theo Billson helped the Warhawks complete their Conference sweep with a 7-0 win over UW-La Crosse on Sunday. Billson took the No. 1 singles flight with a 6-2, 6-4 victory. On Sunday, Billson had a tough task against 32nd-ranked Ekstand from the University of Chicago. Billson kept the two sets close, but fell in a set tiebreaker against the top-ranked Maroon (5-7, 6(3)-7).
 

Doubles:  Drew Van Fossen – Senior – Germantown, Wis./Germantown & Will Ulrich – Senior – Lincoln, Neb/Pius X
 

Drew Van Fossen and Will Ulrich were the only Warhawk doubles pair to go 2-0 on the week. On Saturday, the pair helped the Warhawks complete their conference sweep of UW-La Crosse with a 6-0 win at the third flight. On Sunday, the Warhawks headed to Chicago to face #4 UChicago. Van Fossen and Ulrich took their doubles flight 6-3 for the lone win for the Warhawks.
 

Track & Field

Vargas, Samuel

Men's Track: Sam Vargas - Freshman - Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead
 

Sam Vargas set multiple personal bests in the Augustana Meet of Champions for the Warhawks, earning a spot in the Top 10 times in the nation this season for two separate events. In the 100m Dash, Vargas finished third with a 10.51, the 9th fastest time in NCAA Division III this season. In the 200m, the freshman placed first, timing in at 21.26, the fifth fastest in Division III.
 

Anderson, Connor

Men's Field: Connor Anderson - Sophomore - Waukesha, Wis./North
 

Connor Anderson set a new career best in the long jump to place second overall at the Augustana Meet of Champions. The sophomore leaped 7.18m (23-06.750) for second place overall, and the 7th best in NCAA Division III.
 

Mitchell, Dakota

Women's Track: Dakota Mitchell - Freshman - Sun Prairie, Wis./West
 

Dakota Mitchell recorded the second-fastest time in Division III this season - 11.69 - in the 100m Dash at the Augustana Meet of Champions. Her time also ranks second-fastest in program history. Mitchell added another top 20 national mark in the 200m. Her clocking of 24.78 was fourth at the meet and ranks seventh in program history.
 

Czarnecki, Kenni

Women's Field: Kenni Czarnecki - Senior - Muskego, Wis./Muskego
 

Kenni Czarnecki posted top-eight marks in three separate events. She was the runner-up in the hammer throw with a mark of 55.96 (183-07) - second in the program record book and fifth in Division III. Czarnecki's shot put mark of 12.89 meters (42-3.5) was good for fourth while her 42.55 meters (139-07) finished fifth in the discus.
