Ketterhagen Ford Football Preview: Game 9 vs. UW-Eau Claire

The Warhawks return to Perkins Stadium to host UW-Eau Claire Saturday. In the regular season home finale, UWW will recognize its senior class prior to the 1 PM kickoff. The game is also the team's annual Military Appreciation Game -- all military members (past and present) are encouraged to stop by the ticket windows for two free tickets to the game. 

RANKINGS
The Warhawks are ranked 17th in the most recent American Football Coaches Association Division III poll. UW-Whitewater is listed at 14 in the D3football.com poll. The Blugolds are unranked. 

SERIES
Saturday marks the 76th meeting between UW-Whitewater and UW-Eau Claire. Bolstered by the current win streak of 22 games, the Warhawks hold the lead in the all-time series 52-23. That mark includes a 24-6 mark since 1966 in games played in Whitewater.

LAST TIME OUT - UWW
UW-Whitewater dropped a top ten matchup 52-14 at UW-River Falls last week. The Warhawks were held to less than 250 yards of total offense including just 46 yards rushing in the contest. 

Justin Klinkner (Two Rivers, Wis./Two Rivers) completed 18 of 35 for 193 yards and a pair of passing touchdowns. Jacques Brooks (Franklin, Wis./Franklin) had a career-high 102 receiving yards on five catches to lead UWW offensively. 

Ethan Gallagher (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) paced the Warhawk defense with 10 tackles including a tackle for a loss. Dylan Tackett (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) also had a career day on special teams averaging 41.1 yards per punt including a pair of 50-yarders and three that pinned the Falcons inside their own 20.

LAST TIME OUT - UWEC
The Blugolds lost a close game 39-36 at UW-Stevens Point last week. UW-Eau Claire registerd 510 yards of offense including 332 passing yards in the back-and-forth affair. 

Ayden Helder was 28-43 for 332 yards in the game. Paxton Rothmeier led the run game with 102 yards on 16 carries while Helder added 69 yards and four TDs with his feet. A pair of UWEC receivers hauled in five catches led by Levi Pooley with 74 yards. 

Keagan Christy paced the defense with 10 tackles including 1.5 tackles for a loss of three yards.
