Oshkosh, Wis. -- The UW-Whitewater volleyball team fell to UW-Oshkosh 3-0 (26-24,25-23, 25-19) in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal match Thursday evening.
The Warhawks will await a possible at-large berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament. The 2025 NCAA DIII Tournament field will be announced during the selection show set to air on Monday, November 17 at 12 PM CT on ncaa.com. UW-Whitewater is ranked 11th in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll and are 21st in the NPI rankings posted on Nov. 12. The 64-team field consists of 43 automatic qualifiers and 21 at-large selections.
The first set Thursday was a back-and-forth battle with the Titans capitalizing on some home court advantage late in the set. The lower-hanging jumbotron disrupted a few rallies for the Warhawks while UWO got some help from a banner that allowed what was to be a sure kill remain in play. The chess match ended with the Titans tallying the final two points of the set to take the early lead.
The Warhawks responded in set two, jumping out to an 8-2 lead. UW-Whitewater held a five-point advantage late in the set, 20-15, but UW-Oshkosh continued to whittle away eventually ending it on five consecutive points.
With all of the momentum, UWO held the lead for the majority of set three to seal the win.

Abbie Dix (Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead) led the way with six while fellow middle
Amanda Hillmann (Cedarburg, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) added five. Outside hitter
Emma Bludgen (Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley) tallied four and setter
Aubrie Krzus (Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South) teamed up on three.
Offensively, Dix paced UWW with 10 kills. Krzus registered 27 assists in the match. Three Warhawks posted double figure digs led by
Natalie Lawton's (Elmhurst, Ill./IC Catholic Prep) 24. Bludgen added 12 while
Kyanne Wusterbarth (Oconto, Wis./Oconto) recorded 10.
