University of Wisconsin-Whitewater head coach
Stacy Boudreau recorded her 600th career victory as the No. 3 Warhawks topped No. 25 Transylvania 3-1 (25-27, 25-16, 25-23, 25-15) in Lexington, Kentucky.
Despite schedule and location changes due to the effects of Hurricane Helene, UW-Whitewater ended their trip to Kentucky with a big win over another ranked team. The Warhawks faced five ranked teams in their last six outings picking up four wins along the way.
In Saturday night's match against the Pioneers, UWW bounced back from a 27-25 first set loss.
Like the storms brought by the hurricane, the Warhawks responded with thunder and lighting sweeping the next three sets.
