The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season on the road in Minnesota. The Warhawks started their weekend trip to Minnesota against Macalester on Friday night.
First Half
Both teams played a close first half, with neither allowing a goal to give up their leverage.
The Warhawks showed some pressure, recording three shots on goal and two corners.
While Macalester had five shots on goal and five corners, the Warhawks kept them off the scoreboard, to end the first half scoreless.
Second Half
The Warhawks showed some more offensive attack, putting on two shots in the first three minutes of action.
After a bit more of stalemate soccer action, the Scots added a goal tot eh scoreboard in the 75th minute.
The Warhawks battled back and looked to create an equalizer in the last 15 minutes, but the lone shot they took was turned away by the Scots' keepers.
