The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team is back on the road this week. The Warhawks head to La Crosse, Wis. to take on the Eagles Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

UWW LAST TIME OUT
The Warhawks used a big second quarter to secure a 13-7 win over UW-River Falls in UWW's home finale last week. UW-Whitewater's 13 second quarter points were the lone points of the first half. The Falcons came back with a touchdown in the third, but the Warhawks held off UWRF late for the win.
Jackson Fox (Kirkland, Wash./Lake Washington) hit a 48-yard field goal to open the scoring and followed with a 39-yarder to put UWW up 6-0.
Jackson Chryst (Orinda, Calif./Palo Alto) capped the quarter with a 12-yard scoring run before halftime. Fox's extra point made it 13-0 UWW. Fox also split the uprights on a 52-yarder in the fourth quarter but a flag waived off the points and handed the Warhawks a first down instead.
Chryst was 11-25 for 126 yards and a pair of interceptions.
Ty Schultz (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) bolstered UW-Whitewater's run game with 137 yards on 23 carries.
Brian Wilterdink (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) was the top target on the day with five catches for 56 yards. Defensively,
Ethan Gallagher (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township) led UWW with nine tackles including 1.5 for a loss, a sack, a phenomenal diving interception and a quarterback hurry.
UWL LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles hit a 25-yard field goal with less than a minute to go to take the lead and seal a 33-31 win at Stout last week.
Kyle Haas was 22-38 for 301 yards and a touchdown. Gabe Lynch netted 163 yards on 16 carries while Jack Studer hauled in six catches for 81 yards. Maddox Pratt was 3-3 on field goals with a long of 46. Ryan Daines paced the defense with eight tackles.
