The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team will open Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play at Perkins Stadium this Saturday as the Warhawks host UW-Oshkosh at 1 PM for Family Fest and the annual Shriners Day game presented by PremierBank.
RANKINGS
The Warhawks are ranked 11th in the latest D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association Division III polls. The Titans are listed 17th in the D3football.com poll and 18th in the most recent release by the AFCA.
Both teams enter conference play with a 2-1 record and are coming off their bye weeks.
FAMILY FEST
UW-Whitewater will expect a large crowd at Perkins Stadium Saturday for the annual Family Fest game. UWW has set the WIAC and Division III attendance records for games played on a college campus the last two seasons during the university's Family Fest. Last year, The Perk hosted 20,113 fans on a beautiful day for Family Fest - it was the first time the stadium reached the 20,000-fan milestone.

Saturday's game marks the 116th meeting between the Warhawks and Titans. This series is the third-longest for UWW against a league opponent. In over 125 years of games between these two WIAC powerhouses, the Warhawks lead the all-time series 79-31-5.
Since the opening of Perkins Stadium in 1970, UW-Whitewater holds a 23-4 record over UW-Oshkosh in home contests.
