The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's volleyball team, ranked 15
th in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, extended its win streak to nine matches with a pair of wins Saturday to wrap up the IWU Fall Classic in Normal, Illinois. The Warhawks topped Aurora and host Illinois Wesleyan 3-1.

The Warhawks trailed Aurora by as much as seven in the opener Saturday, but battled back to knot the first set 24-24 and then 25-25. Back-to-back attack errors for the Spartans handed UW-W their first lead of the set.
Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) capped the comeback with a kill to give the Warhawks a 27-25 set one win.

UW-W trailed early in set two but registered the 5-5 equalizer and didn't trail the rest of the way. Aurora came back to tie it up 17-17 but the Warhawks rattled off eight of the next ten points to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

Aurora opened up a big lead in set three and went on to win 25-19.

Set four went passed the regulation number of points for a win, but an overpass led to another Weinfurt kill for the set and match victory.

Erin McNeil (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) and
Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led the Warhawks offensively with 11 kills each. Weinfurt added 11. Those three were also forces at the net defensively combining for 11 blocks in the contest.
Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led UW-W in the backcourt with 15 digs.

UW-Whitewater cruised in the second match against the host Illinois Wesleyan. The Warhawks won a quick first set 25-12. IWU took set two, but the Warhawks had the response with wins the next two sets.

Anderson, Weinfurt and McNeil combined for 35 kills to lead UW-W offensively.
Hannah Proctor (Durand, Ill./Durand) led the Warhawks defensively with seven blocks. Jensen registered 20 digs in the match.
