The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team swept UW-La Crosse 9-0 in a dual Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks took an early lead with wins in all three doubles flights.
Kellie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) and
Kasey Schlicht (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) teamed up for an 8-5 win at No. 1 while
Courtney Day (Oshkosh, Wis./North) and
Gianna Nikoleit (Elmhurst, Ill./York Community) took No. 2 by the same score. At No.3,
Bethany Marshall (Cary, Ill./Cary-Grove) and
Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) won by a score of 8-2.

In singles competition,
Autumn Bruno (Milwaukee, Wis./Greenfield Whitnall) bested her opponent 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1. Nikoleit was the winner at No. 2 6-1, 6-1 followed by another 6-2, 6-2 Warhawk win with
Cassie Lee (Downers Grove, Ill./Timothy Christian) taking No. 3 singles.
Faith Nosek (Oconomowoc, Wis./BVA) won No. 4 6-3, 6-2 and
Molly Asfeld (Waukesha, Wis./West) took back-to-back sets 6-2 at No. 5.
Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) wrapped up singles with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6.

The Warhawks will head to St. Peter, Minn. for the ITA Regional Championships next weekend.
