The Warhawk women's volleyball team wrapped up the annual Dig Panici Classic with a pair of wins Saturday. UW-W opened the day with a 3-1 win over Concordia Wisconsin before capping the tournament with another 3-1 win over North Central College.

UW-Whitewater put together one of their best offensive outputs of the tournament against CUW. The Warhawks hit .329 in the match including a .407 attack percentage in the second set. The defense held the Falcons to an attack percentage of just .100.

Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) led all players with 15 kills followed by
Erin McNeil (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) with 13.
Hannah Proctor (Durand, Ill./Durand) registered a match high five blocks while Weinfurt added four.

From the service line
Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) and
Emma Bludgen (Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley) combined for six aces. Jensen held down the backcourt with 20 digs. Running the offense,
KellyAnn Sotiros (New Berlin, Wis./West Allis Hale) and Bludgen combined for 48 assists in the contest.

The Warhawks took a bit to get going in their second match of the day but after the first set, they rolled. UW-W posted a .581 attack percentage in set two hammering down 18 kills without committing a single error. Remarkably, they hit even better in the fourth set with 15 kills in 24 attempts with no errors, an attack percentage of .625. Once again, the defense held the opposing offense to an attack efficiency below .200.

Allyson Warburton (St. Charles, Ill./North) led UW-Whitewater with 12 kills. McNeil and Proctor added 11 each and combined for eight blocks in the match.

Sotiros and Bludgen set up Whitewater hitters on 49 kills in the match. Jensen added 15 digs defensively.

Three Warhawks were named to the All-Tournament Team including McNeil, Proctor and Sotiros. McNeil hammered down 33 kills and committed just six errors, hitting .351 in three matches. Proctor was a force at the net hitting .375 with 25 kills while adding 14 blocks on the weekend. Despite running a two-setter offense, Sotiros still averaged 7.55 assists per set totaling 83 in 11 sets played.
