Warhawk Wrestling Releases 2022-23 Schedule

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team has released its 2022-23 schedule. The Warhawks begin competition in November. 

UW-Whitewater will open the season against league foe UW-Oshkosh in a dual set for November 3 at Oshkosh. The Warhawks will head to Kenosha for a dual against UW-Parkside on November 10 with the rest of the month taken up by opens and invites. UW-W is slated to head to Stevens Point for the Pointer Open, Decorah, Iowa for the Luther Open and Mequon for the Concordia Wisconsin Open over the course of the month. 

December also features a pair of duals. The Warhawks will visit Platteville to take on the Pioneers on the 1st. UW-W's home opener is slated for December 8 at 7 PM with UW-Eau Claire visiting Kachel Gym for a dual. Also in December, the Warhawks have the MSOE Invite, Parkside Open, North Central Invite and Gator Boot Duals in Nashville on the docket. 

UW-W will ring in the new year at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals in Louisville, Kentucky January 6-7. The Warhawks return home to host UW-La Crosse for more Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action January 12 at 7 PM before heading back on the road, this time to Elmhurst, Illinois for the Al Hanke Invite on the 14th. UW-Whitewater is set to host UW-Stevens Point January 20 and the University of Chicago on January 21 before closing the month at the Pete Wilson Invitational hosted by Wheaton College (Ill.) and Loras Open on January 27-28. 

The final open prior to postseason competition, the Don Parker Open hosted by UW-Eau Claire, is scheduled for February 4. The 2022-23 WIAC Wrestling Championships are scheduled for February 11 at UW-Stevens Point. The Warhawks will have a short break with NCAA Division III Regionals set for February 24-25 at a location that has yet to be determined. The culminating meet of the campaign, the NCAA Division III Championships are scheduled for March 10-11 in Roanoke, Virginia.
